Greetings Gamers. This is Mewkow, your guide in treating a common gamer condition called Altitis.

Despite first impressions this expansion, there is room for alts.
While Legion heavily encouraged us to go alt crazy in a class based way, Battle for Azeroth is going all in on factions.
It is true that focusing on your ‘main’ character is going to be the best bang for your buck, but you are missing the other half of the story if you aren’t playing both sides.
If you haven’t already done so, the order I’ve found most fitting was to do the Horde opening quest line to their new faction city, and then do the same on the Alliance.
This seems to follow the flow of the full story’s timeline, without much back tracking.
I then found that resuming the Horde story to it’s completion, and then working on the Alliance side, made the most sense chronologically.
The Alliance will then see even more preemptive actions from the Horde as they continue their story, further confirming their intentions.r
This seems to echo the events of the pre expansion patch content, and we know how Blizzard loves to telegraph how an encounter will play out.
I’m sure as we look back on these events, there will be no doubt that the Horde shot first.

If you have questions, tips, or want to discuss a topic further, find us on twitter at @altitisnet, and show notes can be found on our website,
On behalf of the Alt Army, we hope you find this information useful in the treatment of your Altitis.
