Greetings Gamers. This is Mewkow, a resident expert on a common gamer condition called Altitis.
Let’s dig deeper in the use of our Alt Army with… Mount collecting.
The World of Warcraft has mounts stashed all over its worlds, in just about every place you can think of.
As mentioned previously, an abundant source of mounts can be found in most raids, with varying success.
This can also be said of dungeons, which may be a bit easier to get into, and certainly faster.
If you pay attention to the meta raiding achievements, you will find quite a few mounts that are granted after gaining the right ones.
Having an army of alts means you can retry these instances over and over each day and week until the instance servers get tired of you.
Believe me, it does happen, as I have seen how quickly a full set of alts can get the fun ‘Too many instances’ message.
For those alts that have fully powered garrisons and well geared followers, they too will have chances at mounts from various missions; all the more reason to check them regularly.
But if all of this seems like too much work, you can get plenty of mounts with all the gold you’ve been earning with that Alt Army, as long as they aren’t gathering dust in the garrison.
If you have questions, tips, or want to discuss a topic further, find us on twitter at @altitisnet, and show notes can be found on altitis.net
On behalf of the Alt Army, we hope you find this information useful in the treatment of your Altitis.
