Greetings Gamers. This is Mewkow, a resident expert on a common gamer condition called Altitis.
For those that have more money than time to spend, we discuss…level boosts.
More and more MMOs are starting to include paid level boosts as a way of getting to new content, as the number of levels ever increases.
Warcraft in particular started this trend a while back by calling it the scroll of resurrection; a way for retired players to jump back into the game at level 80 and later at 85.
It was then revamped and turned into a way to boost any character to level 90, whether brand new or already established.
As of today, it has been upgraded to level 100, includes a full gear set, large bags, various flying licenses, and even a profession boost if the character was above 60.
While the ala-carte price of $60 is a bit steep for most, you do get a free boost when you purchase the next expansion, so everyone will get to try.
As eager as you may be to use this free boost, make sure you use it on a class you like, or you’ll suffer a bit of alt remorse.
If you have questions, tips, or want to discuss a topic further, find us on twitter at @altitisnet, and show notes can be found on altitis.net
On behalf of the Alt Army, we hope you find this information useful in the treatment of your Altitis.
